The Gelato World Tour stops in Austin May 9-11 after visiting Rome, Valencia, Melbourne and Dubai. The tour visits eight cities on five continents and hosts thousands of people before crowning the World’s Best Gelato champion. Sixteen North American gelato artisans compete for best flavor, including Austin’s Matthew Lee of Tèo Espresso and Gelato. Top three winners move on to represent the U.S. in the Grand Finale of the Gelato World Tour, in Rimini, Italy, later this year. The Gelato World Tour Village features instruction on the art of making gelato and educational workshops about the history of gelato. #Austin #ATX #Free
