The 16th Cine Las Americas International Film Festival runs April 16-21, 2013, and showcases contemporary films from Latin America, the Caribbean, and the Iberian Peninsula. Films made by or about Latinos in the United States or the rest of the world, and films by or about indigenous groups of the Americas are also invited to participate. The festival program offers the latest features, narratives, documentaries, short films, animation, youth films and more. All films are subtitled in English. Festival venues include the Stateside at the Paramount, Alamo Drafthouse Village, the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center and St. Edward’s University.
