The Austin Jewish Film Festival (AJFF) provides Central Texans with the best current Jewish films from around the world. Since 2001, the AJFF has screened feature-length, documentary, animated and short films, offering Austin audiences a view into the vitality and variety of the Jewish experience. AJFF takes place March 29 through April 4, at Regal Arbor Cinema at Great Hills in Austin and City Lights Theatres in Georgetown. #Austin #ATX

Celebrate the 7th Annual Austin Nowruz Festival at Central Market North on Saturday, March 22, from 5-9 p.m. Nowruz (meaning “New Day”) marks the first day of spring and the beginning of the year on the Iranian calendar. Lineup includes: Ravaan Persian Dance Company, Behandish Persian Children’s Choir, UT Middle Eastern Ensemble “Bereket,” 1001 Nights Orchestra and Oljalá.
