Swedish Pioneer Cabin
Zilker Botanical Gardens Pioneer Village 2220 Barton Springs Road Austin, TX 78746 (512) 477-8672The first Swedish settler to settle in Texas built the Swedish Pioneer Cabin about 1840 in Govalle. The cabin was moved to its present location by the Texas Swedish Pioneers Association. Authentic pioneer furnishings are inside the cabin.
