Austin Floorball Club New Player Tournament May 2013

Join Austin Floorball Club for its semiannual New Players Tournament on Sunday, May 5, 2013, from 4:45 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. at the Millennium Youth Entertainment Complex. Floorball is a type of safe floor hockey played with a wiffle ball and a lightweight stick. Equipment provided. Athletic shoes and attire recommended. The tournament is a beginner friendly event ; no experience necessary. Each team will play four short games. For more information or to register, visit www.austinfloorballclub.com. SXSW 2012: Free International Music Showcase at Austin City Hall

The City of Austin’s Music Division hosts Austin Welcomes the World: Live from City Hall Plaza, March 14-16, 2012, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.   The showcase features three nights of live international music performances by 12 bands from 12 different countries including Japan, Sweden, Denmark, Kenya, Nigeria, Cameroon, Taiwan, Greenland, Reunion Island, and Australia.
