Texas Sake Company’s handcrafted sake is a variety made from Japanese rice that was first established in Texas more than 100 years ago.  The rice is still produced on the lower Colorado River around Wharton and Bay City.

Texas Sake Company produces two types of sake that are certified organic by the Texas Department of Agriculture:

• Whooping Crane Tokubetsu Junmai (filtered and fruity)
• Rising Star Nigori Cloud Junmai (unfiltered and slightly sweet)
