The African-American Artist Technical Resource Center (AAATRC) develops and collaborates on community-based projects, and provides umbrella services for artists and arts organizations. AAATRC was founded specifically to help African-American artists develop programs for the Austin community. Today, it serves over 100 artists of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds in all genres of public art, including dance, music, theater, visual arts, and writing.
