Puerto Rican Folkloric Dance & Cultural Center Celebrates Bomba de Loiza 2012

Puerto Rican Folkloric Dance welcomes Los Hermanos Ayala (direct from Puerto Rico) for an exciting joint performance honoring the traditions of Bomba de Loiza on Saturday, June 23, 2012, from 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at The Marchesa Hall & Theatre.  Enjoy the hottest Salsa in Central Texas with opening and closing sets by Orquesta Trabuko.  Food for sale by Chago’s Caribbean Cuisine.  Eat, dance, relax, and celebrate Puerto Rican style.  Admission.

Loiza is a small town and municipality on the northeastern coast of Puerto Rico.  It is known as The Capital of Traditions for its bomba music, traditional Taíno and African dishes, artisanry, and distinct culture.
